The Way of Malaysian Parents Dressed Up Their Children

The fashion industry has undergone a profound and baffling transformation. When it come to setting fashion trend, it would appear as though the youngest generation member were dressing up like an adults. Through that, I've observed from the Malaysian parents dress their children to be camera-ready mini fashionistas.  Mean while, parents today's are getting their children dressed up in the fashion style  outfit. 

  

Nowadays, one of the fashion trend that influencing Malaysian Parents dressed up their children in fashion which is Korean Wave. Korean Wave plays an important part in influencing the lifestyle of Malaysian as accepted and adopted the K-pop culture in the lives. During 2012, a South Korean singer, PSY released a song called "Gangnam Style" and it became a worldwide hit across the globe and possibly across the universe as well. From that, Malaysian parents got influenced with the fashion style, foods and ultimately.

Therefore, K-pop culture and wave have started influenced across the world with the fashion style, food and ultimately. In Malaysia, K-pop fashion is the major that influenced Malaysian parents to dresses up their children by following or copying the fashion style of the famous K-pop singers by imitating the way they dressed. In addition, Malaysian parents tend to dress and accessories their kids like artistes and even styled. From that, I've observed the Malaysian parents especially the young parents would think that dressing up their children in K-pop fashion style is fashionable and cool thing to do and it makes them feel closer towards wit the K-pop culture.

Nevertheless, while the increasing of globalization, the way of Malaysian parents dress up their kids also influenced by the western country (England) . Due to the globalization is the world without boundaries or in other words. This can seen when people can easily contact each other and exchanged information, thus indirectly it had brought and spread the influence of fashion style. Western fashion carries the idea of "cool, popular, trendy, modern and stylish". Today, the Malaysian parents follow the trends set by the society. Media is one of the messenger and convener that easily influencing the perception about the fashion style that is adopted in Malaysia. It is because, Malaysian parents assume that the fashion wore by the artist are stylish and up-to-date. 

   

        Kids in Western Fashion style 

Based on my opinion, the colonization of culture refers to how western country can manipulate people's thinking toward fashion by using media as their weapon. The styled or fashion of the kids and teenagers are crucial, because parents want to be up-to-date and fashionable in front or in the eyes of their peers.

In conclusion, K-pop and Western Country fashion is definitely an interesting new cultural influence the Malaysia's Fashion and Malaysian's society behavior and thinking in fashion .The crucial in influencing the fashion, so that not able down or be left behind the waves of fashion.  It can seen people should adapt it with tge custom and culture in the country . It's because parents of youngster nowadays barely control their children on their fashion sense partly, due to the themselves are also dressed that way in following the K-pop and Western fashion trend.
